General Info About Events/Workshops
Due to COVID-19, all in-person events have been put on hold.
Virtual events are coming in the fall.
We developed the Mahina Retreat in partnership and coordination with the non-profit organization Koʻolau ʻĀina Momona. During this 3-day retreat weekend, we guided young teenage girls through learning experiences around the topics of self care, nutrition, identifying patterns in their physical bodies, exploring historical Waimakalehua (menstrual cycle) practices, and creating their own safe practices. We believe other indigenous adolescents would benefit from these kinds of experiences and aspire to present it to the larger lāhui. More information on a future Mahina Retreat coming soon.
Inspired to support our mission in providing healing and advocacy opportunities for our indigenous youth? Consider sponsoring a worthy teenager to participate in any upcoming programming.
